WHO WE ARE
At Hearts For Haiti our desire is to spread the love of the Savior through the teaching of Scripture and the imitation of the life of Jesus. We believe that teaching others how to be self-sustaining is of great importance and we aim to do so while aiding those in need. As the proverb goes, "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day; teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime." Above all, we wish to help others build a foundation of faith in the Savior "as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul," which will provide untainted hope. We acknowledge the importance of each member of the church and society as a whole and the strengths each individual possesses. With that being said, we understand that some are "goers" and some are "senders" and we are immensely grateful for both. One person can make an impact, but many can change the world. Whether in going, donating, or praying, thank you for your participation in Hearts For Haiti.
WAYS WE HELP
Uplifting and supporting the community by:
FUNDING CHILDREN'S EDUCATION
A basic education can go a long way. By helping children go to school, we can easily change the future generations lives, and set them up for success.
FEEDING THOSE IN NEED
Our goal is to provide regular meals for the orphans as well as feeding those in need.
SUPPLYING BASIC NECESSITIES
A vast amount of people cannot afford basic necessities like clothing, mattresses, clean water, and other sanitary items.
“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see”
Mark Twain
PRAYER REQUESTS
BUILDING
By the grace of God we have purchased a piece of property. We now need funding to build a place for the children to stay. We also need to build a wall to keep others from coming onto our property.
